What are some commonly delayed pain symptoms after car accidents?

Suffering an injury in a car accident is not always cut and dry. Because of late onset pain, all people involved in accidents should seek medical attention. So, what are some commonly delayed pain symptoms after a car accident?

One of the most common types of pain that develops well after a car accident is that of the headache. Many people ignore headaches they get, even after accidents, because it is such a common type of pain. But, if you've recently been involved in a crash, a headache could be the sign of a more serious issue.

Pain in the abdomen can also develop hours to days after the crash. Pain the tissue of the abdomen can be very serious and can even be fatal if ignored. The minute you begin feeling pain in this area after a car accident, you should seek medical attention. You could be suffering from internal bleeding or some of the organs in that area of the body could have been damaged.

Whiplash injuries will either develop immediately or will take a little while to present themselves after a car accident. Pain present in your shoulders or neck can indicate whiplash injuries. Pain in your back can also signal an issue with the discs in your back, such as a herniated disc.

Have you been injured in a Wilson car accident? It's best to not only seek medical attention but also consult with an experienced personal injury attorney about your situation.
