Distracted driving is a big problem on the road. Even before electronic devices, drivers could become distracted by adjusting the radio or trying to eat. Texting while driving is especially hazardous. It can seem as if it does not take too long to just glance at the phone to read a text, but the reality is that it can be deadly to take your eyes off the road for those few seconds.
